    Requirements

    * Expertise and experience developing across a full stack, including client/server interaction, databases, and CI/CD infrastructure.
    * Deep understanding and experience with modern deployment and development infrastructure: CI/CD, unit and end-to-end testing, and cloud/enterprise deployment.
    * Experience speaking with clients and giving presentations to prospects and clients.
    * 7+ years of direct management experience of onsite and offsite developers.

    Senior DevOps Engineer, £80,000, London, New Role!

    A newly created role, for a well established name in their industry, will position the successful applicant directly under the Director of IT & Security. The key focus of the role is to support the AWS-based teams to have IaC at the heart of their actions & help teams architect out what infrastructure they need within Amazon Web Services.

    What can you expect?

    You'll be designing, deploying and maintaining AWS infrastructure using version-controlled deployment. In addition you'll be hardening deployments for security and high-availability by implementing best practise design principles. Working in a highly collaborative environment the expectation is that you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline deployment scaling of cloud workloads. Finally - in the vein of remaining at the cutting-edge of technology innovations you'll be encouraged to stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to propose and implement improvements.

    What do i need?

    * Excellent understanding of AWS and other cloud technologies
    * Multiple years experience in Cloud infrastructure
    * Experience or knowledge of the well-architected framework, DevOps, agile and cloud design principles.
    * Familiarity with Cloudformation & CDK
    * Programming knowledge, preferably Python.

    The role is a hybrid position.     The P&C (People & Culture) systems team is a component of the operations and systems team, tasked with overseeing and improving the P&C systems ecosystem.
