    Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer

    Location: Norway (Oslo)

    We are looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to work on a remote basis. The site is based in Tromsø but several team members work from various cities in Norway.

    As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.

    Azure Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

    * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient Azure infrastructure solutions.
    * Deploy and manage virtual machines, storage accounts, and other Azure resources.
    * Design and implement network configurations, including Azure Virtual Networks and VPNs.

    Automation and Scripting:

    * Develop automation scripts and templates for provisioning and managing Azure resources.
    * Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or PowerShell.

    Monitoring and Optimization:

    * Implement monitoring solutions to ensure the performance and availability of Azure resources.

    Security and Compliance:

    * Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
    * Collaborate with the security team to conduct regular audits and implement security measures.

    Collaboration and Documentation:

    * Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Azure configurations and processes.

    Qualifications:

    * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    * Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on Azure (5+ years).
    * Strong understanding of Azure services, networking, and security.
    * Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
    * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep or ARM templates.
    * Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
    * Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-300/301) are highly desirable.
