    Your Responsibilities

    As a Principal Data Engineer in our IT Department

    * You will spearhead projects and programs related to data architecture, pipeline development, data integration, performance optimization, and CI/CD implementation.
    * Engage with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders on ongoing and upcoming initiatives, addressing business demands and solutions within the data technology ecosystem.
    * Provide leadership to a dynamic team of data engineers and data consumers, instilling a proactive approach within the engineering group.
    * Make strategic decisions based on a comprehensive understanding of the technical landscape, potential risks, assumptions, dependencies, future challenges, and cost implications.
    * Execute the data lifecycle, encompassing data integration, data engineering, data architecture, and data security, collaborating with other teams such as BI, ML, data science, and platform teams for seamless delivery.
    * Transform business requests into actionable solutions, showcasing tangible advancements with measurable outcomes.
    * Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data engineering to propose improvements and implement best practices.

    Essential Qualifications

    * Demonstrated expertise as an AWS specialist in the data engineering segment, with a background in roles such as data engineer.
    * Proficient in core AWS services including AppFlow, DMS, Glue, Lambda, Lake Formation, Redshift, Step Function, CFT, CI/CD, and other data-related services.
    * Coding proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
    * In-depth understanding of the data flow from inception to consumption, including data modeling.
    * Effective communication skills, enabling clear and concise interactions with technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
    * A holistic approach to requirements, offering tactical or strategic solutions as appropriate.

    Desirable Qualifications

    * Experience collaborating with data management teams on data quality, data lineage, and metadata management.
    * Previous engagement with data science and data infrastructure teams.

    Not a Suitable Role If

    * You lack a coding execution background or have no plans for future coding contributions.
    * You are only conceptually aware of core AWS services without practical implementation knowledge.

    Your Contribution

    Educational Background

    Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field.

    Professional Experience
