Required skills:

* 3+ years experience with PHP;
* Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel;
* Hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
* Previous experience with RESTful APIs;
* Hands-on experience with microservices architectures;

For one of the main Internet companies in Italy, Jefferson Frank is proudly looking for a Senior Data Engineer.

Within the Data Platform team, you will be required to:

* Build large-scale batch and real-time data processing systems using Python and cloud platforms.
* Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other internal stakeholders (e.g., product managers).
* Conduct root cause analysis on data and processes to address business needs and identify improvement opportunities.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase by working with innovative data processing frameworks, technologies, and platforms.
* Design, develop, test, monitor, manage, and validate the data platform's activities.

Hard skills needed:

* Advanced proficiency in Python for developing data processing systems.
* Expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data processing solutions.
* In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies, particularly experience with AWS.
* Proficiency in code management and versioning using Git.
* Experience in implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with other software engineers, data scientists, and internal stakeholders.
* Skills in conducting root cause analysis on data and processes.
* Familiarity with innovative frameworks, technologies, and platforms for data processing.
* Experience with containerization using Docker.
* Knowledge of container orchestration and management using Kubernetes.
* Nice-to-have: Previous experience in the advertising industry, bringing insights into data engineering challenges and opportunities specific to this domain.

Smart-working policy:

Our client has offices in Milan and Turin. They adopt a hybrid working policy.

Compensation:

Up to a max of € 60.000 gross.
