Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will work to align the technology strategy with the business vision. They will join as a CTO to join the team at a time of huge growth for the business to structure the team and have a vision for their operations over the next 5 years. The ideal candidate will display leadership, organisation and knowledge, and have excellent interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will..

* Lead in the prioritisation of technology-related initiatives within the company both from a strategic and operational perspective aligning with group company goals.
* Oversee the management of a multi-disciplined team with a varied skill set including backend/frontend developers, QA, security and Dev Ops.
* Responsible for coaching and retention of key hires.
* Collaborate with the CEO, Head of Product and the Product team in delivering industry-leading solutions.
* Research and development of new and emerging technologies.
* Contribute to team process improvement adhering to industry best practice and principles.
* Provide team members with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform the role to a high standard.
* Provide feedback/reporting to Management/Board of Directors on a regular and ad hoc basis.

Ideally you will have...

* Experienced managing a small team of Developers/Engineers
* Experienced working with both technical and non - technical people
* Ability to drive a team forward and maximise everyone's potential
* Experienced ideally within a 24/7 AWS environment.
* Experience managing and developing individuals ensuring roles align with the business strategy.
* Experience in implementing ISO27001
